The Dread Pirate Rollers are gearing up to represent our community at The Great Southern Slam in Adelaide this June, one of the largest and most exciting roller derby tournaments in the Southern Hemisphere. This incredible event brings together teams from across Australia and beyond for a weekend of fierce competition, skill, and sportsmanship.

Getting our skaters to Adelaide, however, comes with significant costs — including travel, accommodation, tournament fees, and essential equipment. That’s why we’re reaching out to our community, friends, and supporters for help.

We are currently fundraising to ensure our team can attend and compete at this prestigious event. Every contribution, big or small, helps our skaters take the track and represent our league with pride.

The Dread Pirate Rollers are proudly supported by the Australian Sports Foundation, which means all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible in Australia. Your support not only helps grassroots sport thrive, but also directly supports the athletes who dedicate countless hours to training, teamwork, and building an inclusive sporting community.
